You might know me for creating personalised embroidered baby clothing, keepsake gifts and children's accessories, but you probably don't know how this little business began.
Like many small businesses, Phoe & Bee didn't start with a detailed business plan. It started with a simple idea, a lot of determination, and a season of life that was beautifully chaotic.
Where It All Began
Four years ago, I was three months postpartum with my little one.
Life had already changed in every possible way, and then (because apparently we like a challenge,) we welcomed a puppy into our family too!
Those early days were full of sleepless nights, baby cuddles, puppy training and learning how to juggle it all. Looking back, it was hectic, but it was also the beginning of something incredibly special.
My auntie bred our puppy, so as a thank you I decided to embroider personalised bandanas for all of the puppies in the litter.
I shared them online without expecting much.
Then something surprising happened.
People started asking if they could buy them.
The Dream I'd Already Started
The funny thing is, Phoe & Bee had already been quietly waiting in the background.
Months before, I'd bought the domain name, created the Instagram account and chosen the name Phoe & Bee. It was one of those "maybe one day" dreams that many people have but never quite know when to start.
Those dog bandanas gave me the confidence to take that first step.
What began as a small creative project slowly grew into a real business.

Today, Phoe & Bee has evolved far beyond those first embroidered bandanas.
I now create personalised embroidered baby clothing, children's clothing, keepsake gifts and thoughtful embroidered accessories, all stitched to order from my small UK business.
