The Halloween Collection Is Here 🎃

If you read my last autumn post, you’ll know I’d been keeping a few of this year’s designs under wraps while I stitched, tested, changed colours, changed my mind and stitched them all over again.

Well… I can finally show you what I’ve been working on.

The P&B Autumn & Halloween collection is officially here, and I think this one might be my favourite yet.

I really wanted this year’s pieces to feel fun and seasonal, but still like something I’d genuinely put on my own children. Think cosy jumpers for pumpkin patch days, little Halloween parties, autumn walks and all those photos you somehow end up looking back at a year later wondering how they were ever that small.

Little Pumpkin is back

I had to bring Little Pumpkin back this year. 🎃

It’s one of those designs that feels Halloween-y without being too Halloween-y, so it works just as well for a pumpkin patch trip or autumn day out as it does for Halloween itself.

This year there’s a personalised Little Pumpkin jumper too, embroidered with your little one’s name to make it completely theirs.

And after finding an old video of Norah wearing hers last year, I think I’ve realised why I love making pieces like this so much.

At the time, it’s just their little autumn jumper.

Then suddenly a year has passed, you find an old photo or video, and it becomes one of those things that takes you straight back to how tiny they were.

Maybe the keepsake clothes aren’t really for the children after all. Maybe they’re for us parents who want to remember every little stage.

 

A little bit of Halloween magic

I also wanted to have some fun with this year’s Halloween designs.

So yes… some of them glow in the dark. 👀

There’s a personalised witch design and a spider-and-web Halloween jumper, both with glow in the dark details for a little extra surprise when the lights go out. They’re still cosy, wearable jumpers during the day, they just have something a bit more fun waiting for later. 

I can already imagine these being worn for Halloween parties, trick-or-treating and cosy evenings when the little ones insist on turning every light off just to watch their jumper glow again.

For the little ghosts

The personalised appliqué ghost jumpers are back too.

These have a completely different feel from some of the newer designs, with the appliqué giving them that lovely handmade, textured finish. They can be personalised with your child’s name and there’s even the option of a ghost with or without a bow. 

They’re definitely for the children who want to embrace the spooky season properly, while still looking very cute doing it.

Pumpkin patch days for the whole family

One thing I mentioned in my last autumn post was that I wanted to start making a few more things that work for grown-ups too.

So this year there’s also a matching Pumpkin Patch jumper for adults and children. 

I love the idea of matching without everyone having to wear completely identical outfits from head to toe.

Just a little coordinating detail for pumpkin picking, family photos or an autumn day out feels much more wearable and, importantly, you can actually wear the jumper again afterwards.

Halloween clothes that don’t have to be worn once

That was probably the biggest thing I wanted from this collection.

I love Halloween, but I don’t love buying something that gets worn for two hours and then disappears into a drawer.

I wanted these pieces to work for the whole season.

Pumpkin patch trips.
Autumn walks.
Halloween parties.
Cosy weekends.
Family photos.
And all those normal little days in between.

Something seasonal enough to feel special, but wearable enough that you actually get some use out of it.

Every embroidered piece is made to order here at P&B.

There’s still something I love about watching a design go from a file on my screen to an actual jumper I know a little person is going to wear for one of their childhood memories.

And yes, sometimes that involves staring at thread colours for far too long or deciding a design needs moving approximately three millimetres to the left. 😂

But I think that’s part of what makes handmade pieces special.
