Small Business Workwear: Because Even a One Person Business Deserves a Uniform!
Share
There’s something about putting on a jumper or T-shirt with your own business logo that makes everything feel a little bit more official.
Even if your office is the kitchen table, your colleagues have four legs, and your morning meeting is just you deciding which coffee to have. 😂
As a small business owner myself, I know how much work goes into building something of your own. The late nights, the endless to-do lists, the excitement when an order comes through, and the slightly ridiculous number of tabs you have open at any one time.
So when it comes to your workwear, I think it should be something you’re proud to wear.
And the lovely thing? You don't need to order 20 matching T-shirts to make it happen.
Small Business? Small Order? Absolutely Fine!
One thing I really want more small business owners to know is that there's no minimum order quantity for workwear at Phoe & Bee.
You don't need a team of ten.
You don't need to fill a cupboard with branded clothing.
And you definitely don't need to order 15 jumpers when all you actually want is one.
Whether you're a nail technician working from home, a dog walker out in all weathers, a baker creating beautiful cakes or a fellow creative business owner packing orders at your kitchen table, I can help you create workwear that feels like your brand.
Just one embroidered jumper? Lovely.
A couple of personalised T-shirts? Absolutely.
A cosy hoodie with your business logo? Even better.
It's your business, so let's make something that works for you.
Workwear Doesn't Have to Look Like Workwear
When you hear the word 'uniform', you might immediately picture stiff polo shirts or something you'd rather take off the second you finish work.
But branded workwear doesn't have to be like that.
Personally, I love the idea of a cosy sweatshirt with a small embroidered logo on the chest. Something that's comfortable enough to wear all day but still makes you feel put together when you're meeting customers, attending markets or filming content.
Think lovely neutral jumpers, simple embroidered details, your favourite brand colours and designs that you'll actually want to wear.
A few ideas I love:
Embroidered jumpers with a small business logo for a simple, everyday look.
Personalised T-shirts for warmer days, events and busy working days.
Branded hoodies for dog walkers, outdoor businesses or anyone who basically lives in a hoodie.
Matching pieces if your small business is growing and you've finally got someone to share the workload with!
And if you're not quite sure which colour, garment or logo placement would look best, that's fine too. We can figure it out together.
Your Business Deserves to Be Seen
One of my favourite things about personalised workwear is that it can help get your business name out there without you really having to do anything extra.
You're already doing the work. You might as well have your logo on while you're doing it!
Whether you're delivering orders, setting up at a craft fair, visiting customers or grabbing a coffee between appointments, wearing your own branding is such a simple way to help people recognise your business.
It also looks lovely in photos and videos.
If you're creating content for Instagram, TikTok or Pinterest, having your business name visible on your clothing can make everything feel that little bit more connected to your brand.
And there's something quite special about seeing the logo you've spent so long working on actually stitched onto something.
It's a small thing, but sometimes those small things make your business feel very real.
Made by a Small Business, for Small Businesses
This part is particularly important to me.
Phoe & Bee is a small business too.
I know that when you're working for yourself, every purchase matters. You're thinking about what you actually need, what fits your budget and whether something is going to be useful.
Which is exactly why I don't think you should have to order more workwear than you need.
Every embroidered piece I create gets the same care and attention, whether it's one jumper for someone who's just launched their business or several pieces for a growing team.
I love seeing other small businesses come to life, and being able to stitch someone's logo onto their very first piece of workwear is something I genuinely enjoy.
After all, we all start somewhere.
And sometimes that somewhere is a laptop, a big idea and a very large cup of coffee.
How to Order Your Personalised Workwear
I've tried to keep the process as simple as possible.
You don't need to know anything about embroidery or have everything figured out before getting in touch.
Just send me a message with a little information about what you're looking for.
It helps to know what type of clothing you'd like, roughly how many pieces you need (one is absolutely fine!), and whether you have a logo or design in mind.
From there, I can chat through the options, help with suitable garment choices and logo placement, and put together a quote for you.
Once we've agreed on everything, I can get to work bringing your idea to life.
No complicated bulk orders. No pressure to buy more than you need.
Just personalised workwear made for your little business.
One Jumper, One T-Shirt, One Very Proud Business Owner
If you've been putting off ordering branded workwear because you thought your business was too small, consider this your little nudge.
You don't need a shopfront, a huge team or hundreds of customers to have your own uniform.
Your business is still a business, even if it's just you doing absolutely everything behind the scenes.
And I think that deserves celebrating.
So whether you're looking for your very first embroidered business jumper, a personalised T-shirt for an upcoming event or something cosy to wear while you're working, I'd love to help.
